Welcome to Mando Armory

Welcome to Mando Armory
MandoArmory.com is the new command center for premium Mandalorian–inspired helmets, armor, and 3D printable cosplay files, built as a dedicated home outside of Etsy. If you know the Etsy shop MakerBak3D, this is the same armorer behind it, HK7335. After six years as a Star Seller on Etsy, it was time to create a space with a name that is easy to remember, easy to spell, and instantly tells you what this brand is all about: Mando armor.
Why Move Beyond Etsy
Etsy has been an amazing launchpad, but its “prohibited items” and vague policy enforcement have made it risky for makers who build blasters, vibro blades, and screen‑inspired props. At any moment, a listing can be flagged, a “policy violation” can appear, and an entire shop can be shut down without warning, which is simply not sustainable for a serious cosplay business.
Creative Freedom For Cosplayers
Mando Armory exists so that prop makers and cosplayers can enjoy true creative freedom around sidearms and melee weapons that complete a build, including detailed blasters and vibro blades that bring a full Mandalorian loadout to life. On this site, there is room for full Mandalorian armor sets, detailed gauntlets, jetpacks, greeblies, blasters, vibro blades, and more, without having to tiptoe around third‑party marketplace rules.
From Side Hustle Back To Full Time
This work started as a full‑time career in film and television prop making and visual effects, then evolved into six years of 3D printed cosplay on Etsy. A recent drop in sales and rising medical expenses at home meant taking on a part‑time job, which is why you have not seen as many new listings lately. But the goal with MandoArmory.com is to build this back into a full‑time creative career.
What To Expect From Mando Armory
Going forward, this site will feature:
Ready‑to‑print Mandalorian helmets and armor STL files for home 3D printers
Finished, ready‑to‑wear helmets and armor for cosplayers who want plug‑and‑play gear
3D Printed helmets and armor for DIY cosplayers to create their own character
Weapon props like blasters and vibro blades that were too risky to list on Etsy
Why This Domain Name Matters
Choosing MandoArmory.com instead of MakerBak3D was a strategic move for clarity and branding. The domain immediately communicates that this is a niche armory for Mando‑style armor and props, which reinforces the site’s identity for anyone searching for Mandalorian cosplay gear.
A Dedicated Home For Mandalorian Cosplay
This site will grow into a complete resource for Mandalorian costuming: detailed helmets, armor sets, weapon props, and the occasional behind‑the‑scenes build breakdown that shows how each piece is modeled, printed, sanded, and painted. Whether someone wants raw prints to finish themselves or cosplay‑ready pieces, the mission is the same: help fans build the kind of armor that turns heads at conventions and on camera.
